The Jaguar XJ6 Sedan dating from 1982 to 1986 represents one of the best buys in the Luxury Car Market. These years produced the most reliable Jaguars as well as the classic Jaguar design. Today a 1996 Jaguar XJ6 sells for base price of $56,900. Considering the sales and luxury tax and a few common upgrades, the drive home price could easily be over $60,000. However, the 1982 to 1986 Jaguars range between $6,000 to $12,000 depending on condition, miles and options.

 

The design and performance is very similar to the new Jaguars since they were re-designed with round headlights, and analog dashes of the mid 80's cars. With such a high price for a very similar car, the prices are not expected to fall below the current levels. Many people actually expect the prices to actually increase on the older Jaguars. This is very probable, due to the decreasing availability an increased demand for these mid-eighties models.
